OWEN OSEROFF RACING
ABOUT
Owen Oseroff’s racing background has mainly consisted of road racing, between his interest and his experience. Owen grew up going to Road Atlanta to watch his father race cars in Time Attack. His earliest memories are of track weekends when Owen’s mother would bring him and sister to sit in the paddock and watch his father race.
When Owen turned 11, He started racing go karts at Atlanta Motorsports Park in Dawsonville, Georgia. By the standards of the traditional path of a professional driver, this is a late start. He took well to karting. It built his foundation and over the years he continued to get better. Oseroff raced in the Lo206 Junior class until he aged out at 16 and joined the Lo206 Senior/Master class. Through this transition, he only got faster. After COVID-19, he raced karts on-and-off until 2021. By then Owen had become too tall for his go kart, him and his father had a decision to make. Invest in a car and build a future, or buy a new kart and keep doing this for fun. They decided, with the help of his family, he could make this his future. At the end of 2022, Owen and his father purchased a 1993 Mazda Miata Spec racecar.
Owen is working to pursue racing full-time. In May of 2023, he earned the SCCA racing license and is currently racing in both SCCA Spec Miata and The ChampCar Endurance Series. In 2024, Oseroff finished 5th in the SCCA SARRC Spec Miata regional championship—it being his first full season in the Championship. Owen’s ultimate goal is to become an endurance racing driver in the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship series as well as a Driver Coach. This upcoming year is packed with events ranging from races, track events, and car shows and we hope to see you there!
